Personnel Plus, Inc. is NOW HIRING an Acetylene Plant Operator/Filler!

• Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
• $18.00 per hour to start
• East Boise work location
• Temp-to-hire
• Excellent benefits package upon rollover with an ESOP company!

DUTIES:

• The safe start up and shut down of the plant at the beginning and end of each day
• Operate and monitor plant during operational hours
• Record required information on logs at required time intervals
• Safely filling Hydrogen, Chemtane, and Propane cylinders, according to procedures
• Respond to alarms promptly, assess the problem. and initiate the appropriate corrective action
• Perform visual inspection on cylinders prior to filling
• Safely fill acetylene cylinders and perform leak checks on all cylinders at predetermined PSIG
• Verify labeling is correct and readable on filled cylinders
• Follow established procedures for blowing acetylene cylinders down and getting them ready for re-qualification or maintenance
• Other tasks as assigned or necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Accurately enter data into computers
• Acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organization skills
• Perform basic mathematics calculations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of cylinders and gases
• Able to pass a background check
• Be drug-free
