This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled, bilingual CPA – Accountant to join our growing and dynamic CPA firm. This is a remote role. The selected candidate will work closely with our Accounting Manager and a team of staff accountants located in the Philippines. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish , has a strong background in public accounting , and demonstrates exceptional technical accounting and leadership skills .

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting team.
  
• Supervise and mentor a team of remote staff accountants, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all deliverables.
  
• Review and finalize financial statements for tax returns, and accounting reports for a portfolio of 300+ clients.
  
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and internal firm policies.
  
• Drive process improvements by developing and refining accounting procedures and workflows.
  
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  
• Provide training and ongoing professional development for team members.
  
• Serve as a key point of contact for client communications related to accounting and financial matters.
  
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to firm leadership.
  
• MUST HAVE - Public Accounting Experience with multiple clients 
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• Active CPA license required.
  
• Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. (Flexible) 
  
• Public accounting experience is required with multiple clients 
  
• Must have Act 60 experience (most likely from Puerto Rico) 
  
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and U.S. tax regulations.
  
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  
• Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
