Responsibilities:

• Responsible for new feature development, and enhancements to existing algorithms.
• Work closely with a cross functional team, utilizing various tools (vehicle, HIL, Dyno, Virtual, rapid prototyping) through the V-model software development process to ensure quality and robustness of the production algorithms.
• Interface with systems and calibration to fully understand the requirements, develop implementation strategies, assess, and document the impacts against regulatory requirements, markup models and ensure the design meets functional/operational requirements, and validate the design during the production process.
• Provide technical guidance/training and act as an expert in his/her field of specialization. Controls algorithm development typically begins as an advanced effort but must ultimately meet program timelines and conform to high level/functional requirements.:
• Be able to work independently with a cross functional team(systems and software) to develop new controls features;
• Interface with systems and calibration to fully understand the requirements.
• Develop implementation strategies.
• Assess and document the impacts against regulatory requirement;
• Markup models to ensure the design meets functional/operational requirements
• Validate the design during the production process;
• Collaborate across multiple CoE's supporting global product development;
• Track their progress and report status to management with escalation of issues/risks;
• Present feature overviews to other controls engineers or calibration teams.

Required Technical Skills:

1 .Essential:

Automotive systems: Control Systems, ECU, Hydraulic system, Electric physics, combustion physics; Electrified Engine

Advanced experience with Matlab and Simulink;

Working experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / G[1]suite);

2.Mandatory Knowledge:

ETAS INCA;

Problem Solving techniques (DFMEA, DFSS, DVPR, Reactive methods);

HIL, dyno, vehicle-testing experience.

3. Expected knowledge:

C+ Programming;

AGILE/Scrum;

Application Life cycle management tools(RTC/ALM);

Development processes, procedures, and architectures (aSPICE, PLE, AUTOSAR, vehicle functional safety)

Salary: 10,500/ BRL
