Salary Information:
The salary for this position is negotiated through a collective bargaining agreement.
*** All new employees will be hired at step three of the salary range ($72716.80 annually) and will be eligible for merit increases until reaching the maximum salary in the range.***
Definition
Incumbents troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft maintenance problems and perform duties related to routine maintenance structural repairs rebuilding and/or upgrading of major aircraft components and systems and keeping of maintenance records.

Exam #1: LVMPD Air Support Hangar Tour/Seminar (Optional) - Monday January 5 2026 at 10:00 am (PST)
Exam #2: Practical Exam (Weighted 40%) - Tuesday January 6 2026
Exam #3: Oral Board Exam (Weighted 60%) - Wednesday January 7 2026
