You do not need to come from the AV or smart home world to crush this role.
Some of our best potential fits come from construction , field operations , project management , or superintendent backgrounds — places where schedules matter, people don’t always behave, and “we’ll fix it later” isn’t an option.
What you do need is the ability to run complex projects, make decisions, communicate clearly, and get things across the finish line when conditions are… less than ideal.
If you need perfect information, perfect people, and perfect timelines to perform, this will not be fun for you.

As a Project Manager at Control Freaks Hawaii, you’re the calm in the chaos, the keeper of momentum, and the person everyone looks to when something inevitably goes sideways.
