$120,000 – $150,000 + Bonuses

Permanent mechanical engineering role supporting design and validation of engineered-to-order industrial process equipment used in energy and industrial facilities. Execution-focused work designing cooling systems, heat-rejection circuits, and flow paths through fabrication, testing, and field validation. Own cooling and flow performance for custom equipment operating under pressure, vibration, and duty-cycle constraints.

Requirements

1. U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of professional, practical  mechanical or process equipment design experience in power generation, energy, or industrial equipment manufacturing; research-only experience not applicable.
3. BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering. Hands-on, practical experience designing and sizing heat exchangers, pumps, control valves, rotating equipment, vacuum systems, ejectors, and piping.
4. Strong applied knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and hydraulics.
5. Proficiency with MATLAB, Excel-based solvers, and internal sizing tools. Working knowledge of CFD for flow and heat-rejection analysis using ANSYS, Fluent, CFX, COMSOL, or equivalent. Familiarity with ASME codes and industrial equipment standards.
