Summary

Warehouse Associate

Immediate opening at our warehouse in Valley City, Ohio available for a motivated individual for a long standing retail flooring business known for our superior customer service and professional staff. If you are looking for a caree r, you may be the candidate we’re looking for. If you're a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual, we will provide the tools and training you need to achieve outstanding success. We believe in creating a family friendly work environment, where each person is an integral member of the team, yet responsible for his or her own results. No experience required, willing to train the right person for this position. Position starts at $17 per hour with the opportunity for more, depending on experience. Benefits available.

Duties

Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:

• Interacting with the staff, customers; including vendors, commercial and builder accounts, installers, etc.
• Staging materials for jobs
• Delivering Materials
• Receiving; unloading delivery trucks of merchandise
• Keeping Warehouse clean and organized
• Working alongside other showroom and construction site colleagues
• Providing exquisite customer service
• Ability to prioritize and time manage effectively

Requirements

Qualifications for this position:

• High attention to detail
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean Driving Record
• Good communication skills both verbally and written
• Able to take direction and willing to learn our computer system
• Able to operate a forklift is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to operate a carpet cutting machine is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate
• Good people skills
• Independent proactive thinker
• Team player
• Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4 pm
